Prof. Andrew A. Gumbs is the head of Surgical Oncology at Yvelines Nord Region, France (Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal Poissy/Saint-Germain-en-Laye/Mantes-la-Jolie/Meulan). He is also a Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary surgeon at, Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal Poissy/Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Poissy, France. He is professor of surgery at Grigol Robakidze University T’bilisi, Georgia, and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg Magdeburg, Germany. He is a member of International Advisory Board at Faculty of Medicine, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU), and a member of International Surgical Advisory Board, Expert in Surgical Oncology at American Hospital Tblisi in Republic of Georgia. He is the Editor-in-Chief of “Artificial Intelligence Surgery” journal (aisjournal.net), and Associate Editor in “Frontiers in Surgery”. His research interest is “minimally invasive and robotic hepatic pancreatic and biliary surgery”. He studied at Yale University, New Haven, CT (BA, 1994, Archeological Studies) and Yale University School of Medicine (MD, 1998, Medicine)
