Prof. Abdolhassan Kazemi

Abdolhassan Kazemi is Director Philosophy and History Research Center, Tabriz University of Medical Science in Iran, since 2012. He was with Tabriz Uni. of Med. Sci. in Tabriz, 2001-22, and was a senior lectured and senior manager. From 2006-2008 he was Research vice-chancellor of Tabriz Uni. of Med. Sci., and General Director of International Scientific Correlation Office of Tabriz Uni. of Med. Sci., from 2004-2006.

He received his Fellowship from The Shahid Beheshty University in Bio-Medical Ethics (2009), PhD from The University of Manchester in Genetic engineering (2009), MSc from The University of Manchester in Molecular Biology (2006), MSPH from The Tarbiat Modarres University in Medical Mycology (1991) and BSc from The University of Tabriz in Biology (1984).

He won the National Selected Lecturer & Academic Staff (Iranian Ministry of Health, Treatment & Medical Education-2005), National Selected Lecture in Educational Motahhary Award (2009), National Selected Lecture in Educational Motahhary Award (2011)

He has 11 National Patents in Biotechnology field and is member of Iranian Academy of Medical Sciences now. Also he is Editorial board’s member and Reviewer of more than 20 international scientific journals from different countries

He is Scientific Director & Lecturer of Bioinformatics Workshop, Scientific Director & Lecturer of Informatics & Scientific Databases Research Workshop, Scientific Director & Lecturer of Medical Ethics Workshop, Scientific Director & Lecturer of Ethics in Research Workshop and Lecturer of Evidence Base Medicine (EBM) Workshop for academic staffs and postgraduate students in Tabriz Uni. of Med. Sci

His research interests include Bio-Medical Ethics, Genetic Engineering, Biodesign, Nano-Biotechnology, Molecular Medical Mycology, Mycoses and Mycotoxins & Mycotoxicosis
