• Biography: Reza Boostani received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Shiraz University in 1996. Then he received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (Bioelectric) from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in 1999 and 2005, respectively. During his Ph.D. program, he spent his research period in Technical University of Graz (Austria) from 2003 to 2004 under supervision of Prof. Pfurtscheller. He join to Shiraz University as a faculty member in 2005. He has been selected two times as distinguished researcher in Shiraz University in 2010 and 2017, respectively. In 2022, he was selected as top 2% scientists in the world according to Elsevier criterion. Prof. Boostani is the head of Biomedical Engineering group at Shiraz University and has published 220 Papers, which get more than 4250 citations (H-index: 31). He has stablished Biomedical Engineering major at Shiraz University in M.Sc. and Ph.D levels in 2008 and 2014, respectively. He is the co-founder CVPR Lab. at Shiraz University.
